Great diversion from the crowds at the beach. Great to see how the rest of Oahu looks. Train lovers of all ages will enjoy the experience.
First time ride ever. Worth the ride and time. They are not for profit organization. Great people.
My son was two and a half and when we brought him to the train. Turned that day into the happiest day of his life! At times he could barely stand with his excitement. They have a small engine and train car for kids to climb on that can be fun for kids off all ages, even adults like me who is still often like a kid. On the train ride you get great views of the ocean, Makakilo, a few beaches and some fields. We would go here many more times if we still lived right by it. The only downside is that it may be hard to find if you don't know where you are going.
Bring back Hawaiian rail! So much fun for the kids. Wish we can restore more routes.
