This McDonald's is located inside the Laulani shopping center with Safeway and Ross.
The prices are reasonable and the services is awesome and i get everything i need when i order. I get alot of friendly and lots of smiles and Aloha.

Every once in a while, I like to take my son here to get a Happy Meal and play in the indoor Play Place. The restaurant is always clean and my food usually comes out in a decent amount of time, but this place is ALWAYS CROWDED when I go. I've been there on weekends, weekdays, during meal times, during off times, and every time I go majority of the tables are taken and the kids area is jam packed of kids playing. The kids area is enclosed and small so when those kids scream with excitement or cry at the top of their lungs when it is time to go, the sound reverberates off those close proximity walls and intensifies the sound.
Unbelievably slow drive thru. Find a parking place and go inside to get your to go order. Otherwise, plan on being stuck in the drive thru lane for awhile.
OMG...this is the slowest McDonald's ever. And their drive thru system is not conducive. People cutting in front of other people = drivers getting nasty with each other. Waited over 10 minutes from the time I ordered to the time I got my food...this does not account for the time waiting in the drive thru line to order my food. Laulani McDonald's needs to come up with a better drive thru system.
Anyways, yeah... BRING YOUR HEADPHONES if you plan on taking the kiddos to the play area and hanging out there for a few minutes.
SO... here is my tip: bring your headphones. You don't have to blast your music to drown out the sound of the kids, just play something at a level until you can clearly hear the words. You just need to protect yourself and your sanity from those high pitch noises. I always make sure to look up every few minutes to make sure my kid is acting right as well as other's kids too. Besides, kids as I've found out, are really good on telling on each other. I've had kids come up to me and say that they don't like the fact that my son looked at them. Or that my son doesn't want to play with them.
