Only to add to this my family and I were having a nice dinner with my one year old sitting in his chair in the kitchen. When suddenly the cabinet door comes crashing down nearly missing my sons head, luckily my wife was there to catch it, which a pretty heavy door. After further inspection it appears that the cabinet door had been missing a hinge on the top and it was only a matter of time before it fell.
7. Jacuzzi not working
So it almost a month now here and still no mirror in the master bath. I get a call from resident services so it just came in and they want to schedule. I think to myself self great they will get it installed ASAP. Only to find out that the mirror they had missing our brand new apartment for month would be installed for another week. I guess it's not a priority for them to quickly install items that shouldn't have been missing in the first place. This is EGREGIOUS.
9. Closets won't close because of screws sticking out

I won't get into my opinion and just stick to these facts. I want prospective renters to know everything that we are experiencing and it's only month 1:(

From our first meeting with Nicole Carter, we have been in love with this place. We have never had such a warm and positive one-on-one with a rental representative. Nicole helped us find the perfect place and helped us every step of the way! We love every amenity and the community is fantastic!!! Maintenance requests are very easy and we are completely satisfied with them so far as well. We know you will love Kapilina Beach Homes as must as we do!

Kapilina has been really good to us. This is a great community to raise a family & pets. The maintenance team is always readily available. The amenities are awesome. And resident services are amazing! Evalani took great care of us, in the times resident services were needed. She is a pleasant staff member to work with, whenever you may need help or services. Thank You Kapilina!
I'm doing everything I can to make the best of this place and trying to give them the benefit of the doubt but to no luck.
We lived in 2 houses there over a year long period. the houses are tiny, master shower is so small it's useless, there is virtually no place to store anything. walls are paper thin, no central air conditioning (in the flats, there is in the apartments) you can heat everything your neighbor is doing. leasing office is great, but resident services is mostly useless. ammenitites are good for kids. the beach sucks, very course sand, tons of rocks and shells and coral. worst of all once you move in they keep jacking up your monthly rent at your annual lease resigning. even though there have been no changes to the community and the military BAH rates have trended down over the last 3 years. bottom line I wouldn't move back
This is a beautiful community. Secluded & safe, yet town is only a couple miles away. Wonderful staff & amenities. Call Jordan Burgess she is a Hawaiian Home Angel - couldn’t have made our move to the island without her! Pet friendly community. Beautiful trees. Been here since Sept 23, 17. No regrets at all.
