When I first called, I got thru to a receptionist and was pleased with the information and scheduling. However, during the months of waiting for a new patient well visit for myself and my son, my son fell ill. I couldn't get thru on the office line for two days and his symptoms weren't an emergency so I didn't call the Dr. directly. I waited patiently for a professional return call, or for someone to answer. By day three, my son needed medical attention and I brought him to a local urgent care, where he received wonderful attention. I highly recommend the staff at Urgent Care in Kapolei. A week went by and I still had not received a call back from Dr. Kelly's office. My well visit was approaching and I noticed their hours had changed per their voicemail intro, and my appointment time was when their office was closed. I again called for two days about this conflict to confirm whether the voicemail was incorrect or my appointment needed to be changed. I received no call back and couldn't take the time off of work for a chance their office was open. I never received a confirmation call or text, or a call for a no show. I called again today, and actually got thru to someone. Princess was her name, and she was not accountable or understanding of the situations at all. She in fact, hung up on me. When I called back, another receptionist answered and she was at least apologetic. Unfortunately, she assured me that I couldn't trust their voicemail intro to be true to their hours in the future, and that they don't return calls. She stated that they're often overwhelmed with calls and are very often unable to answer them, so my best bet would be to do what other patients do, and call back repeatedly until someone answers. I requested an email address for Dr. Kelly, to share my experience with his office staff and the reasons I will not be booking a future appointment for myself or my family, as not to abuse the emergency #. The office staff advised me she'd have a manager contact me. Customer service it typically amazing on O'ahu, however, the last place I'd anticipate to run into so many issues would be at a Dr's office. Hope this review helps and if you experience better, I hope they made changes that were needed.
Awesome staff and doctor. Will be my physician as long as I live on the Island. Very attentive, friendly, and informative. Really seems to care about patients and concerns. They truly go above and beyond. I would highly recommend if you are searching for a doctor you can trust with your health.
